This website makes frequent use of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.  This software is probably already installed on you computer; it's installed on  tens of millions of computers.  If you wish to download and install the latest free version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader, then please click here to go to Adobe's website    

If you encounter difficulties viewing anything on my website then please install the three bits of free software mentioned here.

To view videos and listen to audio, you will need a recent version of media player software installed on your computer.  If your computer is less than 1 year old then your media player will probably do fine.  If you wish to install the latest free version of Microsoft's Media Player (for Windows or Macintosh), then please click here to go to Microsoft's website.
To view slideshows you will need a recent version of Macromedia's Flash plug-in.  To install this free software, please click here to go to Macromedia's website.


Hints

To view an item immediately:  Position your mouse cursor over the item and click the left mouse button.  

 

To SAVE an item to your computer's hard drive for viewing later:

Position your mouse cursor over the item and click the RIGHT mouse button.  A drop-down menu will appear.  Choose the option "save target as" (if you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer) or "save as" (if you're using Netscape Navigator) and a window will open prompting you to save the file.  You may then save the file (perhaps to your "Desktop") for viewing later.  If your internet connection is slow then this may improve your viewing of videos.
